MICRORAMA

MICRORAMA

From June 5 to 7, 2025
with Jérémy Carrasco and Edouard Ducos

Saturday, June 7, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight
As part of Nuit Blanche 2025

For Nuit Blanche 2025, Galerie Data offers an immersion into the world of the Microrama collective, where each member brings a unique expertise, blending visual photographic and generative creation, multi-instrumental compositions, and forays into minimalist techno. The collective stands out through an approach that blurs the boundaries between genres, with each project conceived as an immersive experience.

In the project morphose, this approach is expressed through a dynamic interaction between sound and image, with each medium enriching the other.
Jérémy Carrasco explores the theme of "organic mutation," combining image generation and experimental sounds to create a hybrid universe where the organic and the virtual intertwine. This dialogue is reflected in forms that are in perpetual transformation, evolving sound textures, and visual structures that continually redefine their own nature.
Artificial intelligence, at the heart of his creative process, acts as a vector of metamorphosis, with elements that seem to emerge from a "living" process, reproducing organic rhythms and shifting structures.

Edouard Ducos’s project Infra draws inspiration from Duchamp’s concept of the "Inframince" and the notion of the imperceptible. He repurposes the primary function of the camera, modifying it to capture wavelengths invisible to the human eye.
By capturing what escapes our vision, he questions our relationship with the world around us and probes the invisible boundaries between reality and perception.

Their respective approaches invite us to discover new dimensions of visual experience, rethinking our perception and sensory exploration of the visible.
